STORY NOTES =========== Premise ------- A tiny extraterrestrial visitor walks into the garage. Ace sees humanity's first contact with alien intelligence. Jack sees a visitor and offers a beer. The three spend the evening looking over Lake Koshkonong. Continuity ---------- This issue follows the enormous spaceward beam in ISSUE-007, but does not explicitly confirm that the beam summoned or guided the visitor. The timing is suggestive and deliberately unresolved. Ace remains focused on cosmic meaning and investigation. Jack grounds the impossible event in ordinary Wisconsin hospitality. Neither response is treated as wrong; Jack simply postpones the questions. Important visual details ------------------------ The alien is one adult, friendly, understated traveler with a practical suit and satchel. There is no spacecraft, weapon, uniform insignia, or visible clue to origin. The final milk-crate chair accommodates the visitor without making the garage suddenly own alien-sized furniture. Easter eggs ----------- The garage exterior identifies ISSUE-008 as a public Nitetime archive release. The radio tower from the beam panorama remains visible across the lake. Possible future hooks --------------------- The visitor's name, origin, destination, knowledge, and relationship to the beam remain open. So does the question of whether the visitor understands English naturally, technologically, or simply because this is Nitetime.
