SUNDAY COMIC SCRIPT — ISSUE-006

FORMAT
One landscape Sunday page with eight numbered panels: a wide opening panel,
three panels, three panels, and a wide final panel. Clear left-to-right,
top-to-bottom flow.

CONTINUITY
Match Issues 1-5. Ace: lean, dark hair, rust-red rolled-sleeve shirt, dark
vest, jeans, silver radio headphones. Jack: stockier, sandy hair, short
mustache, square glasses, olive work jacket, cream shirt, jeans, tool belt.
DJRC is not given a physical appearance; show only hands at a keyboard or a
director's silhouette from behind.

PANEL 1
Visual: In the garage mission-control corner, an unseen DJRC types a short
idea into a beige terminal labeled CODEX. Only hands and the back of a
director's chair marked DJRC — WEBMASTER are visible. On-screen text:
ACE & JACK IDEA. Ace and Jack peek from behind the monitor.
Dialogue:
ACE: That's us.
JACK: So far, it's one sentence.

PANEL 2
Visual: The CODEX machine expands like a marvelous printing press. Story
cards, inked panels, painted art, and neat text sheets roll through gears.
Ace watches artwork develop; Jack checks page order.
Dialogue:
ACE: It draws the whole adventure.
JACK: And does the paperwork.

PANEL 3
Visual: A complete ISSUE-006 release folder emerges. Clearly visible tabs:
comic.png, TRANSCRIPT.txt, ALT-TEXT.txt, NOTES, CREDITS, MANIFEST.json,
SHA256SUMS.txt. All are tidy; no fake body text.
Dialogue:
ACE: Comic, transcript, alt text...
JACK: Notes, credits, metadata, checksums.

PANEL 4
Visual: Jack places the completed folder into a sturdy local filing cabinet
labeled NITETIME FILES ARCHIVE. A green seal reads PUBLIC. Ace closes the
drawer carefully.
Dialogue:
ACE: Saved locally.
JACK: Complete before it travels.

PANEL 5
Visual: A paired-folder Syncthing mechanism—two synchronized wheels joined by
glowing lines—copies the release from LOCAL to a distant sign reading
files.nitetime.net. The folder itself remains safely in the local cabinet.
Dialogue:
ACE: Syncthing publishes Files.
JACK: Same release. Other end.

PANEL 6
Visual: A separate brass AUTOMATIC GOPHER PUBLISHER wakes up beside the Files
cabinet. It opens MANIFEST.json with a mechanical reader and verifies a large
green stamp: STATUS: PUBLIC.
Dialogue:
ACE: Who told Gopher?
JACK: The manifest did.

PANEL 7
Visual: The publisher builds a cozy miniature Gopher reading room: menu cards,
index drawer, transcript pages, and a clear link sign BACK TO FULL FILES
RELEASE. A path leads toward gopher.nitetime.net.
Dialogue:
ACE: It built its own reading room.
JACK: From what we already packed.

PANEL 8
Visual: Wide final cutaway of the entire garage workflow as one clean chain.
Large readable stations connected by arrows:
IDEA → CODEX → COMPLETE RELEASE → FILES → GOPHER.
Above FILES: files.nitetime.net. Above GOPHER: gopher.nitetime.net.
Ace and Jack stand beneath the chain. Ace admires it; Jack holds a clipboard.
The carved gopher flips an OPEN sign at the reading-room door. In the very
last corner, a fresh blank IDEA card drops into the input tray.
Dialogue:
ACE: Everything from one idea?
JACK: One complete release. Two front doors.
Caption:
