ALT TEXT — COMPLETE PAGE ======================== An eight-panel landscape comic rendered in strong black ink with painted amber, brown, rust, olive, and green CRT light. Ace remains lean and dark-haired in a red work shirt, dark vest, jeans, and silver headphones. Jack remains stockier, with sandy hair, mustache, square glasses, olive work jacket, and tool belt. The setting is their crowded late-night garage. The first panel shows only DJRC's typing hands and the back of a director's chair labeled DJRC—WEBMASTER, avoiding any invented physical appearance. A beige Codex terminal receives a short Ace-and-Jack idea while the characters watch from the far side. Codex unfolds into a large mechanical printing press that produces comic art and organized paperwork. A completed ISSUE-006 packet visibly includes the comic image, transcript, alt text, notes, credits, manifest, and checksums. Ace and Jack place it in a local NITETIME FILES ARCHIVE cabinet bearing a green PUBLIC seal. A separate Syncthing mechanism links the local folder to files.nitetime.net. Another distinct machine, the AUTOMATIC GOPHER PUBLISHER, reads MANIFEST.json and displays STATUS: PUBLIC. It then builds a cozy Gopher reading room with an index, transcript, and link back to the full Files release. The wide final panel displays the whole workflow as a connected garage line: IDEA to CODEX to COMPLETE RELEASE to FILES to GOPHER. The Files and Gopher stations are labeled with their respective Nitetime hostnames. A carved gopher holds an OPEN sign at the finished reading room, while a fresh blank idea waits at the beginning. Ace is amazed that everything came from one idea; Jack describes it as one complete release with two front doors.
