ACE NITETIME & JACK STATIC THE ARCHIVE THAT FOUND THEM PANEL 1 Visual: Ace and Jack stand in an enormous old-computer archive under a monumental NITETIME.NET sign. Beige servers, filing cabinets, tape reels, and green CRTs fill the space. Three arched passages are labeled /MUSIC/, /COMMODORE/, and /RADIO/. Dialogue: ACE: This isn't the server room. JACK: Too much room. PANEL 2 Visual: An archive aisle climbs impossibly upward between racks like a long, steep staircase. A large sign reads /ARCHIVE/. Dialogue: ACE: That's not a hallway? JACK: It's /ARCHIVE/. PANEL 3 Visual: Jack raises a warning hand as Ace reaches toward a rattling file drawer labeled TEMP. Nearby are a RADIO 608 tape reel, a box marked UFO?, and a Commodore 64 floppy disk. Dialogue: JACK: Don't touch TEMP. ACE: Wasn't going to. Sound effect: TIK TIK TIK PANEL 4 Visual: Ace and Jack cross a narrow bridge made from giant floppy disks above a vast green-lit machine space. Signs point toward /RECOVERED/ and /COMICS/. Dialogue: ACE: The archive has weather. JACK: That's the cooling fan. PANEL 5 Visual: Ace and Jack find two filing-cabinet doors. The first is labeled /COMICS/. The second is labeled /ACE-AND-JACK/. Dialogue: ACE: We have a directory! JACK: We have a problem. PANEL 6 Visual: Inside a drawer marked ISSUE-001 are comic pages showing Ace and Jack in the scenes they have just experienced, including the green CRT archive. Dialogue: ACE: It already drew us. JACK: Better angles than security cameras. PANEL 7 Visual: Jack holds a glowing page labeled comic.png. It contains a miniature view of the comic itself. A green CRT behind him reads FILE OPEN while Ace leans closer. Dialogue: ACE: Is that this comic? JACK: Don't scroll. PANEL 8 Visual: A wide pullback reveals Ace and Jack on a large green CRT. Outside the screen, two empty chairs face the terminal: Ace's headset hangs on one, and Jack's tool belt hangs on the other. A mysterious hand presses ENTER on the beige keyboard. A card shows the path /COMICS/ACE-AND-JACK/ISSUE-001/. Another CRT reads FILE SAVED. Dialogue: ACE: Are we inside the archive? JACK: Depends who's reading. Caption: FILE SAVED.
